Uniform Update from the Uniform and Leisurewear Shop
Our uniform providers, the Uniform and Leisurewear Company, have been in touch to let us know that unfortunately due to the break, because of Covid-19, in the manufacturing industry is a delay in the supply of certain sizes of jumpers and cardigans to the Uniform and Leisurewear Company ready for them to embroider the school logo.
We are not the only school affected by this delay and the Uniform and Leisurewear Company want to assure parents they are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible with all their suppliers.
Currently the KIrkham Branch of their shop is closed and so parents and carers are advised to use their online shop; the link is:
Following extensive consultation the Governors updated the uniform as part of our 175th birthday celebrations of providing formal Church School Education in the Village of Freckleton.
The original school colours:
- Gold for the sun
- Sky Blue to represent Water and
- Brown for the Earth
are incorporated in our school tie which has a navy background.
As part of this uniform each child is expected to have a school book bag, this both helps ease cloakroom congestion and helps our children to be more independent. In order to facilitate this transition Governors purchased a tie and school book bag for each child; they have continued to do this for all new starters to our school.
In Autumn 2020 our PE Uniform was enhanced by the introduction of a School Tracksuit.
PE Kit for Boys & Girls
To be worn instead of uniform on specified days.
All uniform with the school logo on is available from 'The Uniform and Leisure Wear Shop' in Kirkham; all other uniform can be bought from a wide range of shops.
