We offer a curriculum with Christian values and British values embedded at its heart; a curriculum that is fully inclusive, reflecting the diversity of Modern Britain and providing appropriate challenge for all. We also aim to build and develop the skills and attitudes required to excel in learning, such as perseverance and resilience. Exciting educational experiences are on offer, with a wide range of high quality sporting and musical opportunities. The children learn through a creative, topic-based curriculum, which is broad and balanced. We use Lancashire Planning Documents as a resource, adapting and personalising learning to meet the children’s needs and interests, whilst ensuring it meets National Curriculum statutory requirements. We also recognise the importance of a well-rounded education, where all pupils can make good progress spiritually, socially and emotionally as well as academically. We strongly believe learning should be lively, engaging and fun; an example of this is our commitment to outdoor learning in the Forest School “Freckleton’s Fabulous Forest”. We aim to develop well-rounded young people who treat other people as they would like to be treated themselves and are ready to “live life in all its fullness”, meeting the challenges of life with confidence and enthusiasm!
