Sports Leaders 2022/23

We are very pleased to announce of four new Sports Leaders for this academic year.  They will assist the school in the delivery of sport and will be role models to our pupils.  They will of course help out in our weekly Trinity Trophy competition which runs every Wednesday.

Trinity Trophy

The Trinity Trophy is a whole school event which runs every Wednesday lunchtime.  With the help of the Sports Leaders, our children get into their house teams and compete against each other in a number of sporting events, all of which are accessible for all.  Each week we collect the scores and award the Trinity Trophy.  The trophy was kindly donated by our Vice Chair of Governors - Mr Rob Willetts and the children love this friendly and competitive sporting event.

BORWICK HALL

Look at all of the incredible things we did at Borwick Hall.  Every class from Reception to Year 5 was given the opportunity to experience a day of outdoor and adventurous activities at Borwick Hall.  We enjoyed activities such as canoeing, caving, climbing, team building and archery to name just a few.

About Time...

Our Year 6 Sports Leaders were certainly ‘on their marks’ when they welcomed the arrival of our new Solar Stop Watch on the Junior Playground today.

This will help the children in PE lessons and at playtime to help maintain active and healthy lifestyles by improving personal performance.

NEW Junior Playground Markings

Thank you to the Governors for resurfacing the Junior Playground and to the PTFA for having these super markings laid down over the summer holidays.

The Juniors have really enjoyed their playtimes using them!
