A warm welcome to Year 3 class and their families. We have lots of fun learning activities planned for this year and we are sure you will enjoy the Year 3 journey.

Information

Classteachers - Mrs Eaves 

Year 3 are taught by Mrs S Catterall on Monday pm 

Teaching Assistant - Mr N Bredbury

Year 3 enjoy P.E. lessons on a Tuesday and Thursday (tracksuit days).

Spelling books will be sent home on Tuesday to be learned through the week for the test on the following Monday. 

My Maths activities will be set on a Monday, to be completed by Sunday.

Topic home learning activities will be sent each half term. The more tasks you complete, the more house points you score and if you complete all the tasks over the half term, you will earn a gold star for your star card. Bring homework folders to school on Wednesday as you have completed the fun activities and share your work with the class.  They will be returned to continue at home.

Reading books are required in school every day and we recommend you read as much as you can at home. Books will be changed when finished after checking with the teacher. Stickers are earned for every 3rd signed read at home and every change of book.
