Please find attached this week's newsletter.

Congratulations to the Year 6 children, past and present, who were confirmed by Bishop Geoff; remember to always let your light shine brightly!

Thank you for your continued support to our wonderful PTFA - please remember to continue to send in gifts for the RAINBOW Tombola (see the PTFA Letter or Class Email for the class colour) or soft toys for the Teddy Tombola.

Holy Trinity Church and Rev Jane are looking forward to Year 1 children and families joining the Worship4U service at 11am on Sunday 3rd July; this month's theme is 'Hope for Everyone' and the children have written prayers to share. Everyone is welcome to this all age service.

Coming up next week the Year 3 children are off to Lancaster City Museum to further their work in History and answer 'What did the Romans do for us?' quite a lot when you think about it especially underfloor heating!

Year 5 (and school band) are looking forward to their Thursday concert - 2.30pm in the school hall.

We hope everyone has seen the information regarding our Online Safety Briefing via ZOOM and at least one parent/carer from all our families is able to attend - working together to keep our whole Freckleton family safe online!

    Enjoy a lovely weekend.

Online Safety Briefing for Parents & Carers

    Thursday 7th July at 5.30pm

    Keeping Children Safe Online:
In the real world we protect our children. So why not keep them safe online?

This online safety session will take place via ZOOM and be hosted by one of Lancashire County Council's Teaching & Learning Consultants with specific responsibility for this area.

We would ask at least one parent or carer from each family to attend this online session which will last for approximately 1hr with an opportunity for questions during or after the presentation.

Class Teachers will be sending out the ZOOM invitation through the class email system.

Thank you in anticipation of your support.

    PTFA Summer Sizzle BBQ

    6-8pm on Wednesday 20th July

Please take a moment to read the attached letter from the PTFA about this year's Summer Sizzle BBQ to celebrate the end of the school year.

You will also receive a paper letter today about signing up to be a volunteer or allowing your child to go on the Bouncy Castle during the school day - a special treat! So don't forget to return the slips.

Please support the PTFA with Bottle donations on Friday 15th July, soft toys for the Teddy Tombola and Rainbow items for this year's new stall.

The PTFA is able to do wonderful things because of your continued support so thank you!

After the success of Club Day Weekend we have enjoyed another fruitful week at school - not only did we enjoy a lovely day on Wednesday with Traditional Sports Day Races in the summer sunshine but the Juniors have had a fabulous time with the Zamble African Dance Company; the children even enjoyed all the teachers dancing as part of the Celebration Assembly!

Sunday is a special time for our Church School Family as Year 6 (past and present) pupils are confirmed at the 10.30am Service at St Paul's Church, Warton by Bishop Cyril. Everyone wishes them well as they take this next step.

Enjoy a lovely weekend and let's hope the weather improves!
